The Future Seaside Eco-Hostel Programs are Moving Forward!

Catch the Vision and Join Us!

Mission: To help people of all ages and cultures gain a greater understanding and love of the world through hostelling programs.

The Fort Ord Hostel Society (FOHS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit currently planning a redesign of the Eco-Hostel concept in the University Village portion of Seaside’s future Campus Town to include resources for other nonprofits with the Eco-Hostel building as the cornerstone facility.

The future Seaside Eco-Hostel in Campus Town, Fort Ord, will provide low-cost accommodations to adventure travelers in groups, families, and individuals. In addition, it will be a sustainable and eco-friendly facility that will make it possible for guests to have great outdoor adventures and cultural experiences in the Monterey Bay area.

The Fort Ord Hostel Society will also continue the tradition of providing unique programs to local community residents helping them learn how to travel the world economically, safely, and with cultural understanding while sharing stories and meals along the way with kindred spirits.

We need more volunteers, ideas, and donations to make this project a reality.

Your support would be greatly appreciated.
